What a year it has been for us in 2016, and we’ve come up with no better way to cap the year off than to have friends and family gathered in our event – Greater North. It was a blast!

With raffle prizes given away by our host M$tryo, along with ridiculous beats and hits from some of the best in the industry, things went lively from the beginning until the end as we had Pope Fiction start the wild night, then the area got suddenly stormy upon the start of the set by DJ Ace Ramos, followed by performances from our good friends, Migo Senires, a set by Yung Bawal, Alex Omiunu, and Rjay Ty.

We would like to take a moment in this post to tell you guys that we are really thankful to those of you who made the event possible, but words won’t be enough to express the gratitude the brand has for those who made it prosperous and successful. Of course, the event was made possible with the help of our media partners Bratpack, SoleSlam, Hat Society, Labyrinth, Purveyr, The Third World, The Nines, Autobot Autoworks, Secret Fresh, Fractal Individual Needs, and Shoephoric. Maraming Salamat po!

This is our best event yet, and we are only in the beginning. Like what has been said previously, amidst all the blessings and success come problems and challenges that are not so easy to overcome. Still, we should never let any kind or type of challenges and adversaries get the best of us so that we can move forward and focus on the things that lie ahead. After all, it’s in this certain type of circumstances that remind us that we still have a long way to go.

It’s only been a month in the start of the New Year, and we are glad to say that big things keep on coming… and we mean enormous, gigantic, colossal, huge, and immense and all that belongs to that matter. We’re having an awesome start, and we never plan on stopping. New chances, new beginning, new opportunities but always the same amount of unwavering passion and hustle to impart awareness and contribute to the culture.

We believe that it’s just a matter of having respect and humility, never think that you’re that high enough to become ignorant and close your doors on the possibility of learning from what society depicts as low. Just like what Ralph Smart says, Ignorance is death. Don’t kill any possibility that comes your way, never stop growing. Take chances, take risks, but do not ever think of selling yourself short and give in to the negativity of the people around you. There will always be adversaries that are unfathomable to some, but serve as an inspiration to many.

Nevertheless, accept the differences of each and every one of us have, but don’t be afraid to be true and be you. Going back, exciting projects await and we are really happy to expand our resources and share our ideas with artists and brands whose names we can’t reveal just yet. But it’s already on the process and just like the other projects from before; we are putting our absolute best to create things worth sharing.

We are super thrilled especially now that we are slowly reaching a point where we thought was once unreachable and yet here we are working our way to more precipitous heights, overcoming all the obstacles and grinding to the pinnacle. Because at the end of the day, we’re still kids, kids with big big dreams.

We will always aim for something higher, and we will never settle. To sum everything up, once again we are nothing short of grateful for everyone who believes in the brands’ vision and direction. It is because of you guys that we continue to strive and give our hearts to develop and improve our craft.

Thank you for making last year our best year yet, well, the best keeps getting better. We’re again about to make another start. Leave no room for idleness, have no space for mediocrity. Never let a moment go drought, let’s instead make every moment count, never settle for anything less than you deserve. Cheers to a better 2017 ahead DBTKMOB!
