In this collaboration, Jameson, an Irish whiskey brand, tapped DBTK to create something out of the ordinary to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.
St. Patrick’s Day is a celebration for the Irish that happens every March 17 to commemorate the patron saint of Ireland, St. Patrick. When you hear “St. Patrick’s Day”, we often associate it with leprechauns, pots of gold, shamrocks, and the like. However, there are much more qualities of the Irish that we overlook that we want to shine upon.
Hence, the streetwear capsule that we designed for Jameson stayed away from these typical associations but still bares the essence of St. Patrick’s Day.
These collaboration pieces highlight and give importance to the dry humor, love for music and outgoing personality of the Irish. Even if we differ in nationality and culture, we can also relate to these qualities as we also sport a laid-back personality, passion for music, and the like from time to time.
