For us, nature can be considered as a double edged sword. Yes, we admire its beauty and wonder and its ability to sustain life because almost all of our basic necessities come from it. But, it can also destroy what it sustains through natural calamities.
In the past few days, cities near Taal volcano have been gravely experiencing the effects of the eruption such as the ashfall, which even reached the northern part of Luzon. Aside from this, volcanic earthquakes have also been experienced from time to time in areas near Taal volcano.
In times like these, always be prepared and be ready with your first aid kit. Always watch out for recent news coming from legit sources. And, always follow advisories especially when evacuation is prompted to ensure the safety of everyone.
Also, because of the recent volcanic activity of Taal and its effects to our kababayans, we are accepting donations for those people affected by the eruption of Taal volcano. Donations will be accepted today (January 15) until Sunday (January 19) at 38-A Shorthorn St. Project, 8 Quezon City (DBTK Shop). To those who will give donations, we will be giving free stickers as a token of our appreciation to your kindness.
Here are some of the things they will be needing that should be considered:
- Food
- Canned Goods
- Rice
- Water
- Instant Noodles
- Biscuits
- Coffee

- Personal Hygiene

Aside from these, we will restock 100 pieces of our black DBTK Air Brush Script Tee and part of the sales will be used to also buy donations for the victims of the Taal volcano eruption.
We hope that everybody can help even in our own little way because any kindness could go a long way, especially to those who are in need. Keep safe to all DBTKMOB out there, especially those who are gravely affected by this natural calamity. Don’t forget to include them in your prayers!
